- For NDA (I) 2024: Candidates born between July 2, 2005, and July 1, 2008 are eligible.
- For NDA (II) 2024 : candidates born between January 2,2006 and January 1,2009can apply
- Academic Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed 12th standard with mathematics and physics.
- Female candidates are also eligible for NDA (II) 2024

3. Syllabus:
The NDA written exam consists of two papers:
a. Mathematics:
- Algebra
- Matrices
- Trigonometry
- Analytical Geometry
- Differential Calculus
- Integral Calculus
- Vector Algebra
- Statistics and Probability
b. General Ability Test (GAT):
- English (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension)
- General Knowledge (Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social Studies, Geography, Current Events)

4. Exam Pattern:
- Written Test (Mathematics and GAT):
- Objective-type questions
- Maximum Marks: 900
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd marks
- Duration: 2.5 hours for each paper
- Intelligence and Personality Test (SSB):
- Psychological tests
- Group testing officer tasks
- Personal interview
